FXB Restaurant Monkstown is superbly located in the centre of Monkstown Village half way between Blackrock and Dun Laoghaire on the DART line at Salthill/Monkstown. FXB Restaurant Monkstown has a capacity of 160 people that includes Private Dining capacity of 70. FXBs Monkstown offers tasty, varied menus using only the best quality produce from land, river and sea. Our beef is all sourced from our farm in Edenderry, Co.Offaly brining truth to the statement from the "Farm to the Table". FXBs is fully licensed and offers a great selection of wines, spirits and beers to complement you meal.
History: The Pub @ FXB Monkstown
At our Monkstown branch you can eat in both our downstairs ‘Gastropub’ & upstairs in ‘FXB's Restaurant’.
Our Pub is open daily from noon, with casual food available until 10pm & drinks until closing time. We offer both a 'grazing' & 'a la carte' menu in the pub using fresh seasonal produce serving soups, starters, salads, meats & fresh fish!
FXB Restaurant upstairs opens at 6pm daily with capacity of 70 people, it specialises in steaks sourced directly from Sean Buckley’s farm in Offaly & matured by Harry Buckley in our own butchers for 28 days. We pride ourselves on using fresh local produce whenever possible & we are renowned for our friendly service, vibrant atmosphere & value for money.
We are located a very short stroll from the Monkstown/Salthill stop on the DART Line. In keeping with Monkstowns previous bohemian tradition, we have a collection of art from local Irish artists on display, which are also for sale.
We are currently a member of the ‘Coeliac Society of Ireland’ and all of our sauces, soups and batter are produced coeliac friendly ©.
